Post by Sir. Psychedelic Soul »

....i'd like to know what pink floyd tunes fookers like besides their most popular works cos it seems that there's too many "fans" who like thier main popular stuff....it's as if they're fans only for their main 4 popular albums.....
i'll list my top 7 fav floyd tunes (in random order)....
and you can't list anything from dark side, wish you where here, animals or the wall....everything else is allowed....

5. summer 68'
6. green is the colour
7. jugband blues

if it was a top 10 i'd also add:

My favorite tunes don't come from any commercial albums. None the less, they're pre-'73.

Green Is The Colour/Careful With That Axe, Eugene
Cymbaline
Interstellar Overdrive
Paintbox
Crumbling Land
Flaming
Grantchester Meadow

I doubt there'll be too many arguements about joining Green and Careful

Only seven? pity.

Since mooner in the end posted 15 songs, I took the liberty to do that as well... :D

So here we go in random order:

let there be more light (just listen to that intro!!!)
set the controls for the heart of the sun
atom heart mother (especially live versions without orchestration)
fat old sun
echoes
fearless
cymbaline
childhoods end
wot's? uh the deal
stay
embryo
lucifer sam
narrow way
careful with that axe eugene
a saucerful of secrets (especially the 'celestial voices' part)

Btw, Sir Psychedlic Soul, six of those were in my PF top15 list I just send to Ridan.
Btw2, what's wrong with being a "fan" of PF just for their most popular albums? Maybe those albums are just so popular because they're so damn great...
