The Wall Live/Is There Anybody Out There question

Post by Jangus »

I recently was digging around and I found that I had the Wall Live/Is There Anybody Out There CD. Although I seem to be missing part 1 of the wall and all of ITAOT, I have disc 2 of the wall. I listened to it and I like it a lot better then the studio version of it. But I was wondering, after doing some research, I found that Roger Waters mentions a piggy(home piggy) while talking about the psychopaths and weak people before Run Like Hell... what is that all about(the piggy thing)? Hope someone can answer this.

They had a big inflatable pig that was floating above the audience before and during Run Like Hell. So this is where it comes from.

it was a homage to the pig from the Animals record cover and from those tours except this time the pig is black and evil looking with that swastika-esque hammers symbol on it. A surrogate pig perhaps?
