Re: Posh
The pink floyd were stuck up, arrogant, self righteous little pricks. They made good music though!!Jack Dempsey wrote:Would you consider Floyd to have been well to do /posh in ther younger days as my girlfriend keeps remembering me ?.

Well ive heard dave gilmour being interviewed about rogers lyrics on the wall, and my recurring thought was, " what a stuck up pratt he sounded", pronouncing his Ps and Qs with meticulous accuracy, ive heard the bugger talk a little more like dave really talks at other times but jesus, he sure knows how to use the obscene words well enough !

I know he had a clan of gingerbread men.simpledumbpilot wrote:Dave Gilmour = Posh Floyd (listen to him speak)
Nick Mason = Sporty Floyd (cars n stuff)
Rick Wright = Baby Floyd (well he is fairly softly spoken)
Roger Waters = Scarey Floyd (CWTAE, say no more!)
Syd Barrett = Did he ever dye anything ginger????
Also, I think the cat in Lucifer Sam was called Ginger.

Well there you go, thanks to Decampos making the ginger connection I think we can safely say that Pink Floyd were the original Spice Girls, now if only their music had been half as good (the Spice Girls that is).decampos wrote:I know he had a clan of gingerbread men.simpledumbpilot wrote:Dave Gilmour = Posh Floyd (listen to him speak)

Brilliant!! I think we may have found another synch!!! Heres how it works. Set Floyds career up at the beginning and then load up the Spice Girls career but dont start it until 20 minutes into Floyds 3rd gig, you should then see lots of strange coincidences start to happenTinkerbell wrote:It's the 'Space Boys'...!!
