Pink Floyd and Stanley Kubrick

Does anyone know why Pink Floyd didin?t alow Stanley Kubrick to use atom heart mother for clockwork orange and Echoes for 2001 A space oddyesey? And then Roger sounds really pissed in Perfect Sense with Stanley for not leting him use the monkeys in 2001 aso?

Stanley Kubrick didn't let them do the soundtrack for 2001, so the Floyd refused to give him AHM for Clockwork Orange. So Stanley refused to let Roger use the monkey footage. I guess that makes sense?

How I understood it, they were willing to do the 2001.

I read that they turned down 2001. I dunno if it was roger or dave who did but one of them was opposed to it.

yes, Kubrick wanted Atom Heart Mother in there but they wanted to get rid of space image so thats why it didnt happen.

I always thought the most obvious reason Echoes & AHM werent used for the 2001 film was because they hadnt been written at that point. The film was released in 1968.

I think AHM was really wished by Kubrick for Clockwork Orange.

i may be getting my years confused here, but i think it's kinda funny, or ironic, that the Floyd turned down 2001 because they wanted to get rid of the space image; but then went and released Darkside Of the Moon soon after.
