Hollocaust

Ok, sorry to put a downer on this forum, but as i'm sure a few of you are aware it's holocaust memorial week. I was at school hearing stories from some old lady and one of the hobbits for LOTR (Bill Boyd, he payed Pippin) and as the old woman spoke she mentioned that a lot of people denied the existance of the holocast, just one question, why?

How can they deny it, what evidence is there people?

I'm not 100%, but I think in Germany it is illegal for them to deny that there was a holocaust.

There are those nay-sayers who claim that there is no way that Hitler could have killed six million people in the time frame given.

I don't know.

Some people feel that the numbers are inflated for propaganda purposes.

I don't know what to think on this topic...I don't even think America landed on the moon.

someone told me that when they were in middle school, there was a kid in their class who had to go outside whenever they would talk about the halocaust, because his father told him that it never happened, and he wouldnt let his son learn about it
