Hey! Me again. I was listening to Brain Damage today... I think its a great song. I would like to know if anyone here can tell me who is the one who says "I think its marvelous" and laughs at the end of the song. The one who says "I can't think of anything to say..." and laughs first is Roger?
Well, I know this is a stupid question and you all big Floyd's fans must hate these questions, but I always have that kind of silly doubts, so I would be very grateful if you could help me. Thanks!
I think it's marvelous

I would have to say that my favourite track is Time...I simply love the combination of David and Nick's voices...they so complement each other. Besides, David's solos is one of the most touching ones....specially the second part of it, when it slows down a bit. I also find the lyrics awesome and I feel the same way.
Now, having said that, I must add that I love the way all the songs are connected to each other, I mean, with the previous and the next one, it seems like you are listening to a long spectacular song. And Brain Damage and Eclipse together sound great

Re: I think it's marvelous
Well, it is known that Roger walked around the studio, with questions written on cards, presenting them to people, and recording their answer. I always assumed the laughing man was the same guy who said 'Well, I was pretty drunk at the time.'Cecioasis wrote:Hey! Me again. I was listening to Brain Damage today... I think its a great song. I think it's pretty safe to say that none of the random voices on DSOTM belong to ANY member of Pink Floyd.
Pretty much all of them have been accounted for over time and none of them have ever been attributed to any member of PF.
It's probably Henry McCollough (of Wings) who spoke the line in question.
