I forgot all about it due to intoxication!! I had a listen on the BBC website but they are making it very difficult indeed to record/download!! Quite interesting and revealing interview I feel. It was quite sweet of Gilmour to say that performing echoes just wasn't the same with out the 'grumpy bassplayer'. He confessed that they were actually miming the studio footage of Pompeii (did I hear him right on that?), and conceded that roger was a good front person where he himself would just stand and play. He also recognised that the Gilmour-lead Floyd was very much after the 'golden period' and 'has been ignored'.
What I found particularly interesting and appropriate was how they went into detail on everything from Piper to the Final Cut and completely left out anything from AMLOR onwards. In fact I don't even think those later releases were even mentioned.
A very enjoyable hour or so.
