rogers "american" accent

has anyone else noticed on this tour he seems to be singing in a more American sounding accent?

i noticed it on the bit in wish you here from italy when he says about the song being dedicated to syd "especially this one"

or is it just me

Listen to Perfect Sense. That "Baseball park" type commentator babbling about the attack on the ship is definitely Waters, although with a very, very stereotypical American accent. He actually does it very well; it took me a moment or two to figure out that it was him talking.

That's Roger!? Woah. I didn't know he was still able to do that amazing voice-change thing after his vocal cords suddenly retuned themselves sometime in late '86. (And he's NEVER done an accent like that before.)

Roger hasnt got the longs or vocal chords to make those noises on that album as the post above proves!! :)

Marv Albert's voice is pretty darn recognizeable and I don't hear any Roger Waters in his voice.

Yeah, it's tapes of the TV announcers.Not famous in the UK .I'm in the USA but from the UK thats the only reason I recognise them,Plus I watch too much TV here.
