Exactly my thoughts too!pompeii purple wrote:She was a cutie. She still has a kind face.
God, I would have gone nuts if I were married to/dating Gilmour back then. I don't believe I would tolerate groupies and hangers-on very well. I wonder how she managed.

Re: Ginger Gilmour - David's First Wife
i like her hair a lot
as for the education thing, I'm going to be a high school teacher (in America obviously), so I know a bit about child psychology as well (thanks useless Uni courses)
A kid not being able to write his or her name at 7 is HORRIBLE, and being able to read just at age 9 is bad too.
What he was saying was reminiscent of the BAD education in my state (South Carolina). It's really sad that schools can't get it together and teach.....if kids arent learning....teaching is not happening period.
if those ppl thought they were teaching, then they need to do a 360 and change everything they've ever done obviously. I can understand David's frustrations...that shit would piss me off to no end.

Alrighty then....nice thread Lazarus.
Ginger is quite lovely. Gilmour's always had good taste in women.
