Hey, I love Saucerful of Secrets, it is a fantastic song, very magical, and I have just listened to the version from Montreux casino. I was wondering if anyone knows of a LONGER version of the song? I heard there is a twenty minute version somewhere out there, like the 24 minute version of Any Colour You Like. Can somebody help me out?
P.S. Does anyone know where I can find the UmmaGumma Live disk, not the first disk that is a compilation of live tracks, but the second disk, they toured it didn't they?
Saucerful Of Secrets.

What's the date for the 24 minute any colour you like?
The longest ASOS I have, I think, is around 25 minutes long, and thats 1971-04-03, and has a short pict rant before Celestial Voices. There's a 22 minute version on Interstellar Filmore, but that includes tune ups and whatnot, a 23 minute version on Bovine Psychosis 1970-10-23 (which is fan-fucking-tastic, it has the percussive piano and all). There are many long, live versions.

Yep, and their knowledge of archictectural stuff had helped a lot on it... But for what I know, the picture was drawn only by Waters and Mason. Gilmour never have nothing to do with archictecture, he and Wright helped in the musical ideas.Sydjones wrote: it was based on a picture that the band had drawn

Well, I don't know I wasn't there, and to be honset, I don't really care which side of the story is true, because I'm not in Pink Floyd, if I was it would be my business, I just wanted the longest version.Fox-Mike wrote:I've heard about both ideas, I forget where I saw it, but they said "Some thing else" was the opening part of the war, syncopated pandemonium was the war itself, storm signal was the aftermath, and celestial voices, as said previous, was the requiem for the lost soldiers.
