Have any of you heard who is going to produce Roger's next album? I read a few months ago that Roger was reportedly seeking an apartment in New York City, presumably to be near Patrick Leonard, who produced ATD with Roger.
Roger enjoys John Lennon's solo work. I wonder if Roger has ever considered working with Phil Spector. I think that would be an interesting collaboration. I'm sure Spector would, at the very least, make the album a tad more appealing to the masses. Add Michael Kamen to the mix, and who knows what the result would be. What do you think?
He beat someone up in the early sixties, in Liverpool I think, who 'accused' him of being homosexual. As if it's anything to be ashamed of, for cod's sake.
P.S. for the record, I'm not gay, despite the username.
She certainly did have a big influence upon John but perhaps it was John's weakness as a human being that allowed Yoko to infultrate his life and relationship with the other Beatles.
I'm glad the Beatles broke up when they did, just like Seinfeld, they ended it at the top, which is the best way to go out. and i heard this thing on the radio, and john lennon said "When you're in a band, its kind of like playing tennis with someone. Once you play with them over and over, you know every move, and you get tired of it. Thats what happened with the Beatles" very good way to say it

It sure is, and while Abbey Road might well be their best album (my favourite along with Revolver), I think they would have got really self indulgent in the seventies. I just get that feeling.
