Re: I'm drunk
No, I'm not insulting you. Sláinte means good cheer or good health when drinking. And no, I don't feel like going out on the tear this evening. Sounds like too much hard work

I love it when you speak Irish.
I'd rather stay home too. Every time I go out, I end up wishing I were home, so what's the point?
I think you are lovely, and I love to tease you, and that's all she wrote.
until I write some more, obviously.

Did you squish some grapes between your toesies?
I'm having a one-woman victory party right now, I'm feeling a little full of myself (shout-out to MYRRRS, HOLLA!).
You'll have to bear with me, I don't often get to smell the heady scent of napalm in the morning... It's doing my killer-American heart good.
p.s. all the drinks are on the house today, please put it on Creek's tab, he would be gratified to know we are having fun.

Re: I'm drunk
I don't understand why anybody would want to be drunk. You might do something you regret. Like break a law or killing someone or something stupid that you will have to live with the rest of your life. Like driving drunk and killing a whole family. I just don't understand that part.

I am wondering just how drunk people in your social circles get!
I am happily drinking a can of Red Stripe - Jamaica's finest - and listening to some music. Happy times.

Re: I'm drunk
The vast majority of people who get drunk do so because they like the feeling of it. Additionally the vast majority of the time they will not do something that they go on to regret. Sure, everyone's had a night they would like to forget... But these occurences are few and fa between. Getting drunk is generally a fun communal/ bodning experience. I usually don't drink to get drunk, i tend to do so to get tipsy... But the people i know who do drink to get drunk have never killed a whole family yet, generally speaking it's hard to do that when you're in the controlled environment of a pubprincessDungan74D wrote:I don't understand why anybody would want to be drunk. Re: I'm drunk
David speaks the truth. I don't like the feeling of being drunk but the bit before that when I'm happy. The secret is not to overdo it.

Re: I'm drunk
yeah being drunk is a very smart thing to do. I swear that was the most dumbest comment I have heard yet David. You just have never been in an ER around midnight taking care of a car crash that was caused by a drunk driver. My Dad has had to go to work to save their life's in the OR. I know what I am talking about. You maybe better drunk in Euro then in the States. We have wild college and high school drink and do stupid things. Maybe its are over 21 drinking law.

Re: I'm drunk
There is a difference between having a few drinks and getting behind the wheel of a car and smashing into someone. Most people I know wouldn't dream of getting behind the wheel of a car after having a couple of drinks. The same with people fighting. Most people who have a drink manage to socialise and go home without ever causing trouble. You can't tar everyone with the one brush.
