I'm right in my element!!!!
I saw Floyd in 88 in Melb Aus at Rod lava Arena which was then known as The tennis center.
And i still have my tour t.shirt.
Friends say"why do you wear it? I'd be framing it!!!"
I reply "It's there to boldly be worn, i'm enjoying something that i love why lock it away and never touch it?"
I had an experience like that 25 years ago.
My mum was in Hosp and my dad, myself and my brothers were eating dinner at the table.
Mum had a cabinet where she put her special nick knacks (as mothers do) and there was a gingerbread house cake that she'd brought at xmas time which was only 1 month prior. (It was nicely secured in cellophane)
I said to my dad "let's eat it, cmonnnnnnnn mum's in Hosp, let's eat it......"
He replied "No way!!! she'll KILL us when she comes home if ANYTHING happens to that cake"
Anyways, to cut a long story short, we didn't end up eating the cake even though my brothers agreed with me, and that night at aprox 3 am the Ash Wednesday Bushfires took our house (and the cake with it!!!)
So
Moral of the story
Live each day as if it's your last
One never knows what can happen at any minute.....
Oh i also have a Wall T,shirt too that i wear alot, not as much as my dark Side tour shirt though
