Simply because it is fun. I'm not being sarcastic. I just enjoy it. I don't like seeing a show with more then two other people with me that I know, and I bring different friends to different shows. I make a whole day of it. The NYC shows, if at MSG have a bar right down the street that will play video and music of that nights performer. It's a great way to meet other fans and have a good time. I have a few great friends that I met at previous shows that will be life long friends. I have met Roger before shows several times, as well as other band members. It's not just about those few hours of music, but the whole experience.

Does anyone accurately know what time 2pm EST is in the UK tomorrow?
EST is -5 from UTM/GMT.
The UK is currently GMT+1
So net change is -4.
So is 2pm EST 10am in the UK??
Is it actually EST right now or EDT??? What would that mean?

Try this table, boss. http://home.hiwaay.net/~krcool/Astro/moon/gmt/
I find it a bit confusing though, but I think you can't be more confused at the moment.

I hope he doesn't announce he is touring USA on 2010 and Europe in 2011. The other way round would be much better. Otherwise one of you Americans will have to put me up for a couple of nights.

As far as I recall, both of his last tours were first staged in the USA/Canada and then in Europe. So I believe Europe comes up in 2011. It suits me either way, really.

He'll hopefully include Australia somewhere in there. Though I don't see why he wouldn't.

Can't take credit for figuring this out, a lovely fellow on the pinkfloydz.com forums did. You should go over there. It's literally exploding with excitement.
