my nipples still firmly in place but Im having problems with my deluxe Piper reissue
Ive just noticed the booklets come loose from the clothcover binding!
thankfully the staples stayed on the booklet rather than the binding, but still...
it was just laying there flat on its back for the last four years, not even propped upright where gravity could really give it a pull!
thats really not very deluxe when the binding comes apart so easy as that
(plus that clothcovers damned hard to keep the dust off of)
my nipple fell off!!!

Re: my nipple fell off!!!
I'm not a fan of these newfangled cardboardy covers. It won't matter for In an Elevator because it has sat undisturbed in my CD rack for quite a while. What was wrong with ordinary, boring plastic CD boxes? They're relatively durable, you can replace them if they get broken and they surely can't cost that much money to make. Record companies should be rewarding people for buying CDs, not selling them the discs in cheap packaging which is inevitably going to become tatty over time. Unless of course they reckon that people will buy the CD, look play it once or twice, look at the booklet, rip it to mp3 and then sit the original in the shelf forevermore.

Re: my nipple fell off!!!
I actually knew a woman that had a breast reduction, and they sewed her nipple on in the wrong place. Long-story-short, it never healed properly and she ended up accidentally flushing it down the toilet.
Or maybe she did it on purpose. She was pretty fed up at that point.
And then later, she caught her hair (beautiful platinum-blond braid) in a piece of farm equipment and it scalped her.
I just thought you should all know that.

Hmmm...I guess it depends on which nipples you use. Some would appear to be better suited for this purpose - they come in all styles and flavours!!!snifferdog wrote:Nipples have their uses but not for holding on CDs it would appear
Anyway, my nipple is still intact!!! But, I don't use it much.

Indeed. My nipple is now in storage in a box behind glass, ready for action should it be needed. It's unlikely at this stage...

Re: my nipple fell off!!!
I guess you need the kind of nipple that swells when grabbed so as to maintain a secure fit. As always, be careful not to wear the nipple down; it must be treated gently (but never neglected) to function properly. If done well, satisfaction should result.
