I want an Immersion of the Barrett years.
Don't know if should vote for 'Piper' or 'Saucerful'. I guess both, but this is isn't possible.

Atom Heart Mother - the Sheffield gig in December 1970 could be included

I voted for "Atom Heart Mother". I would like "The Man and the Journey" here as a bonus two discs...and video of it if there is any.

I voted for "Meddle". That album marked a huge turning point in the band's career in terms of establishing an iconic sound and knowing where the future would be heading. Unfortunately, I don't think it's as celebrated as it should be. Having an immersion box set full of demos of songs like "One of These Days" and "Echoes" would probably be enough to dissect the creative process that went into making that album.

Animals or Meddle, but if I had to I'd lean towards Animals.
Really loved the '77 tour, would be great to have a double live disc album of it! Plus all of the demos, photos and artwork stuff.

My vote would go to ZABRISKIE POINT, but it's not on the list.
The "Zabriskie Point" sessions contain a huge archive of unreleased songs.

I don't think there's enough for an Immersion set, though. I can see it being released as a special edition set outside of the Why Pink Floyd? campaign, but not for much else.countfloyd wrote:My vote would go to ZABRISKIE POINT, but it's not on the list.

There are 4 discs worth of material - the regular soundtrack, disc 2 of the soundtrack released by Turner/MGM, then the extra two discs of Pink Floyd demos. Well, perhaps you're right that it doesn't need an "immersion", since pretty much everything has been released, even though it's unofficial.... It might all be worth a release if included with a DVD and Blu-Ray of the film, plus running commentary and extra film clips.Enish wrote:I don't think there's enough for an Immersion set, though. Unreleased songs we already have in near perfect quality. The largest cache of truly unheard Floyd titles dates from the Syd era. In other words...John Latham > Rain In the Countrycountfloyd wrote:My vote would go to ZABRISKIE POINT, but it's not on the list.

Right, the hardcore fans already have all the Zabriskie songs. The general public doesn't though, but I guess it doesn't matter, after all, the Immersion sets are only bought by hardcare fans anyway.Chris Moise wrote:Unreleased songs we already have in near perfect quality. So, true, the Syd-era cache is the real holy grail.

Why no interest in a 'More' Immersion? I think that album is greatly underrated. And there's an interesting outtake titled 'Seabirds'.
'Cirrus Minor', 'Green Is the Colour', 'Cymbaline' and 'Ibiza Bar', combined with material reminiscent of 'Ummagumma'. I think it's one of the best Pink Floyd albums.

For those wanting PatGoD, SoS, More, Zabriskie, etc., I would too, but I chose Relics in order to cover all of that. Basically 1966-1970. That way, we could get a nice large drawing of Nick mason AND, instead of marbles, a little replica of the ship thing that was based on the cover. Now, that is a trinket I would like.

Also, along with the ship, another Relics cover featured a bottle opener with a strange-looking face. So, the package should include a replica of that bottle opener as well.nosaj wrote:For those wanting PatGoD, SoS, More, Zabriskie, etc., I would too, but I chose Relics in order to cover all of that. Additionally, the pictures of the "A Nice Pair" album had all sorts of stuff, so, relics from that would also be cool... like a drop-cloth that you and some friends could poke your heads through to re-create a Floyd picture. And a model airplane. And a sign that reads "W. R. Phang Dental Surgeon". Or perhaps each package could contain a different relic, so you'd have to buy more packages to get more toys.
