I'm watching a program on PBS, called the Music of Pink Floyd by a tribute band named Brit Floyd. This is new to me, never heard of them. They are doing some pretty good covers, of Pink Floyd's greatest hits. This concert was in England, but they don't say where, but has a big enthusiastic crowd.
Anyone know of this band. They are going to be in Nashville next April, I'm seriously thinking about getting tickets and taking my son.

Re: Brit Floyd
If this is the band I'm thinking of then they are one of the two bands that came around when the members of Aussie Floyd split up. I think it's one of the lead guitarists from the old Aussie Floyd along with all of the backing singers etc. from the old Aussie Floyd.
I went to see them when they were nearby once and wasn't overly impressed, this was shortly after the band formed however and I haven't seen them recently.
If you do go I'd like to have you're opinion on how they are now.

Re: Brit Floyd
They are much better than Aussie Floyd in the guitar department.
The vocalist too does a good Roger Impression in terms of giving the music attitude.
Well worth going to see in my humble opinion.
