Superb performance and great atmospherics with Crosby & Nash. A mild sense of oldtimers getting together and making some sensational music.
The second disc is lovely as well. This was my first entry at Gilmour's solo albums --- solely because the tracklist promised both Echoes and acoustic Echoes (hidden in the 2nd DVD). Slightly prefer this to the Gdańsk one.
Visually it's pretty boring and it's too damn long. If they cut the set list in half, it would have been much, much better.
Per instance, this kind of track listing would be just fine for me:
* Speak to Me
* Breathe
* Time
* Breathe (Reprise)
* On an Island
* This Heaven
* Take a Breath
* A Pocketful of Stones
* Where We Start
* Fat Old Sun
* High Hopes
* Echoes
* Wish You Were Here
* Comfortably Numb

Well, it IS a Gilmour concert, not a Floyd gig. I still don't see why he didn't play anything from his other solo albums.
I also really like the omitted tracks from your list: Castellorizon, The Blue, Then I Close My Eyes, and Smile.
He never plays anything from his old albums. Even Roger Waters plays more older stuff. As for the songs you've mentioned, I don't really like any of them. I've never been much of a fan of "On An Island". To me, it features one good and a couple of half-decent songs, the rest of it ranges from bland filler to utter crap (that is where I put "Smile" - it's interesting how I thought this song would grow on me since I first heard it in 2002 or so, but it never did), but then again it's just my personal opinion.
Maybe I like it more because I was there at the "Glasgow" show, hearing "Echoes" live was worth the ticket money alone, OK maybe "On An Island" is a little on the mellow side, but it is still a good listen (imho).
That's me shouting out "go-on-yerself, David"..! On disc 2, the part where David is introducing the album.
when David is introducing the band and he says "Not him Tonight" i shouted out "Nick Mason"
most of the actual dvd is from the first and 2nd nights. One thing i would change on the dvd is put David Bowies renditions of Arnold Layne and Comfortably Numb as the extras and Richard Wrights in the actual concert as they are more superior versions and David's solo on CN is amazing and is better then Pulse's by a long way.
I was really excited about the release of this DVD, it ended pretty much as soon as i played it. All the worlds audio technology and he releases a Dolby Digital dvd instead of going for the truer crisper , livelier D.T.S.H.D. For a bluray visual the film quality is shocking at times. Only very occasionally play this dvd now.

5. I love the set list, and the performance. Having Crosby and Nash on backing vocals was a bonus.
Are you using the same standards to rate all of these albums? You gave WYWH a 4 and The Wall a 3. Are you saying that a live dvd by a solo member is better than WYWH and almost twice as good as The Wall?
Fair enough. Maybe you prefer Crosby and Nash over Wright and Waters.

My only standard is how much I enjoy listening to the album or video being discussed.
