Animals re-issue including 5.1 mix coming

If this is the full song as opposed to a shortened edit preview, then posting nearly half the album as a single sure would be a bizarre move. I was expecting to hear snippets but not a full song.

wtf... where are ALL keyboards?? I thought that keyboards were rather burried in the mix, but now I even don't hear hammond. Drums and guitars are crispier, but WHERE ARE ALL KEYBOARDS???

I can hear what they're going for.
I think I like it. In fact, I'm pretty sure I like it.
It's different. I'm not gonna say one is better than the other, but it's very much an interesting new look at the song.
LOTS of Nick Mason on this mix. There's a tomtom section early in the song I've never heard before that's been brought up, and it's pretty darn cool.

No, it's in there. I can hear it in the left channel. I would like to ask James Guthrie why it's buried like that, but it's most definitely there. And that's my one nitpick with it at the moment. The other is that the ending might sound a little muddy to some (though I'll be honest, Animals has always had issues with muddiness in my mind). But other than that, I'm digging this mix. The Rick keyboard section is out of this world.
Based on my impressions of this I am even more curious about the other tracks.

I think it sounds fantastic. Very detailed and clear sound. Love the sound of the drums in particular.

The guitar solos in this are and always will be one of the best. The only one comparable for me is The Blue.

Nick Mason's drums are really great here...very clean!!!
I have 1994 remaster edition in CD and the drums are very stuffy and with a lot of drum bass.
The keyboard are not very evident...but the remix is very good.

Just a little curious. I get the vinyl release. And the CD. Blue Ray and DVD though. Am I missing something here.

Yes the last and probably the most worthy of a remix. The original always felt a little choked or muddy as was described. It had that late 70s DIY punk rough mix feel from it.

I’ll gladly buy the CD for the experience and completeness but I’ll pass on the box set. I think I’ve contributed quite enough to The Machine over the decades thank you.

So... I followed the link for the DELUXE version to the US Amazon site. There is a version that looks like the Deluxe (based on photos), but it is listed only as "vinyl". Is there any way to make sure this is the Deluxe edition before ordering?

Yes. Don't put too much stock in Amazon's correctness. They often make weird mistakes but there is no other version of the release with that picture and price point. The single LP is far less expensive.
