Not only is Jeff Beck a great guitarist but he seems to work well with Roger.

MikeWaters wrote:-Doyle Bramhall 2nd is horrible to me. His technical skill is fine but hes a machine on stage, hes not ceative. Just watch the ITF DVD, he doesnt add or improvise anything and hes got no feeling, (except for the occasional face squint) hes like a dead guy on stage. And his singing isnt to good either!
How repugnant. You must not know much about guitar.

Personally I'd like to see what Roger could do with Paul Leary of The Butthole Surfers.

I'm between Snowy and Clapton, since Jeff Beck was a kind of "special guest" in ATD and didn't make a real tour with Roger.

I never heard of Rudi Alphonso... If you're mean the guitarist from The Wall live in Berlin, his name is Rick DiFonzo. By the way, he's the worst guy who played with Waters.

Doh!!! Yeah - that was who I meant, I couldn't be bothered to look at my CD booklet to get his name right!!
Well - I was kind of close

Actually I think he should be called Rudi Alphonso - sounds better!! Rick DiFonzo sounds like he should be in Happy Days

Rick DiFonzo wasn't that bad. His solo's on another brick and numb were great, and better than gilmour ever did.

Rick was sort of sloppy...

sloppy or not

Sloppy or not, still I like his solo's a lot more than Gilmour's.
But I think the best Roger Waters band would be:
drums - Graham Broad, bass- Roger Waters (OK, if he doesn't want to play bass, I'll do it for him  ), guitars-Snowy white & Andy Fairweather Low, saxophone-Mel Collins, keyboards- humm, don't care that much (it's a guitarband, or not  ) Jon Carin/Harry Waters, backing vocals- Katie Kissoon, P P Arnold
And play lots of solo-songs. Not again all of the wall combined with dark side. There is so much more music...

Snowy White gets my vote, my desired line up would be:

Snowy White - Lead Guitarist
Andy Fairweather-Low - Rhythm Guitarist
Roger Waters - Bass guitar
Graham Broad - Drums

I would be more than happy to pay to see this band and any guest appearances would be appreciated

Yeah, where's Andy? I think his "Money" solo should take one of the first places on the "most shocking guitar solos of all time" list...
:D :D :D
