Islands by King Crimson makes me fall asleep, but I like it... I can nicely fall asleep to any good music when I'm tired.

I actually like Dire Straits alot. NOT Brothers in Arms though. I hate Weezer too, but my friend loves em (hell if I know why).

As for bands that make me sleep, I'd say the Moody Blues. :D

And if you want an album that is great to fall asleep too (the good and the bad way) try Yes's Tales from Topographic Oceans. Awsome album by an awsome band, but if you don't understand it it will have you out like hitting the back of your head with a baseball bat. :x

My tip for a good sleep is:

"Tone Float" by Organisation

it is the first album released by Ralf H?tter and Florian Schneider before they made Kraftwerk. This album is very underrated, mostly 2/10, but I think it is a pretty good album, although it is VERY experimental, but if you like "Ummagumma", you will like this too.

I disagree! The Dead never make me sleep! They're one of my favorite bands actually....But in a way I can see your point as some people can't listen to the Dead's jams for long w/out becomnig bored.

The Dead have a very laid back style and don't use flash as part of their appeal like some rock bands do. But what can I say, they're different!!! :D

trust me it has absolutely nothing to do with that.
i like smaller scenes, why i said you might like ekoostik hookah, there is no flash
these boys are talented,
bob weir has played with them on more than on occassion
david grisman opened up on NYE for them,
i know good music, it is just hard for me to dance to the dead,
if im sitting chilling i can...
around a campfire.

i consider myself family,
but others do not know
what you and i both know,
so you are correct on that.

There are three cd's that are certain to make me sleep. Raymond Scott's Soothing Sounds For Babies vol. 1-3. Vols 1 & 2 are about 30 min long, but it took me quite a few listens before I could hear them all the way through.

Sometimes I put on something relaxing when I go to sleep. The Corrs, Sade...
