Bob Marley zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
How the heck doesn anyone get stoned and listen to that. I'd be asleep at note one if I were stoned and heard Bob. Don't get me wrong. I like the music. It just makes me tired.

And, Jerry Garcia's version of Knockin on Heavens Door. His version is just way toooooo sloooooooow to enjoy without a nap.

A great way to fall asleep are Dire Straits and Van Morisson. Any familiar music is welcome.

I don't agree - Radiohead's last few albums makes me feel sleepy, but I would not say they bore me. Actually, I like the band.

Yeah,it's not the same thing, music to put you to sleep is relaxing mood music, and not all that music is boring, because if it was boring you would'nt listen to it to put you to sleep.
Dire Straits is NOT boring,Mark Knopfler is one of the greatest composer/lyric writer/guitarist the world has ever known.Over 130Million album sales can't be that wrong!!!!
But his music is great to send you to sleep at night.

I'm not the biggest fan of grunge, but a few good band came from that era. Soundgarden were great!! Mudhoney and Screaming Trees are two others I enjoyed from that genre.

Psychedelic trance is the most boring music, but you can't fall asleep listening to it. Other than Dire Straits, Coldplay and other sorts of relaxing chillout music, I think Meddle and SOYCD are very good as a lullaby album/song.
