I voted for the Beatles because, growing up during the sixties, they were much more than just a pop group, they changed the face of popular music (sorry about the cliche) and will always be a major part of my memories from that period. Thats not to say I don't like the Stones, as you say its a difficult decision.

Most certainly the Beatles- much better harmonies and songwriting. Just my opinion though- I've never liked the Stones that much (Exile on main st. is great, though) so I'd say the Beatles are tons better. IMHO. :D

I always thought Rolling Stones are more my cup of tea, somehow I perceive them as "less English" and more universal .

the beatles through and through. after brian jones left the stones...they crumbled. last great album by stones...exile. but that was there best album.

this is the easy question for me, i absoutely hate the stones...i don't like their popular songs and whenever i hear mick I just want to hit something...the beatles are awesome, and win in a land slide!

Beggars Bagquet is pretty good album but at the time there is much more Beatles albums I like than Rolling Stones. (though sometimes I'm stoned)=
