Not a hard choice at all...The beatles. If it wasn't for the beatles GIVING the Rolling Stones their first hit "I wanna be your man" then the rolling stones might not even be around!

Furthermore songs by the beatles never get tiresome; however, songs by the rolling stones get soooo annoying sometimes i want to shoot myself.

But that's just me! Anyone else?

They're both great, but due to personal preference, I've voted for The Beatles.

Really hard choice for me too when I decided to post this question.
I voted the Stone for some reasons: I was at their last concert in Italy last year (in Milan 10/06/03 and it was an AMAZING show!!!) and also because Ruby Thuesday, Miss You, She's a rainbow, Paint it black and so are really nice songs.
Nothing to say about Beatles and their songs; Michelle, Hey jude, Yesterday and more are fantastic songs too...
but you know; someone told: It's only rock 'n roll but I like it...

Regards fron Italy.

Early stones sound like they came along just for the sake of competing with The Beatles. Her Satanic Majesties Request is a clear cut (and failed) attempt at making a response to Sgt. Pepper. Plus the Stones' career has gone on for way too long. The Beatles never really got the chance to go dry creatively (They've all done so at some point in their solo careers though), while the Stones have been dry creatively since the mid 70s. I had to go with The Beatles.
