What is your favourite 'modern' band/artist?

I realy liked system of a down, but my friend's house move raped the cd i lent him so now I cant listen anymore.

U2, Sloan, Oasis. Those are really the only "new" bands that I like. I know U2 isn't new but they're still putiing out new stuff so...I consider them worthy.
