I'm a big Ford nut myself and was disappointed to hear this. Ford decided to kill the Bird, again. I'll be darned if they bring it back later on (or even limited-edition now) with four seats or four doors as they have done in the past!

Thanks for replying. I had a '97 Ford Aspire 2-door hatch. Because of my degrading vision, I stopped driving in December 1999. My Mom used it ever since and I paid off the car this past March. She had back surgery in January and couldn't drive my car with 5-speed stick. With my permission - as I'm not driving anymore and it's paid off - she traded it in for a new '02 Ford Escort SE sedan with auto tranny! Me and my family, being out in the country, and always having 'budget' cars, the Escort feels like a luxury car as it have power everthing and keyfob that locks/unlocks, trunk release, and even a horn alarm! Hey, it's even got a tape player (mine was just a AM/FM stereo). lol
When the Mustang was redesigned in 1994 for 30 years anniversary, I became a Ford nut. I was always a car nut and fell in love with Lamborghinis when I was three years old. I'm very competitive so I don't like GM, BMW, and Ferrari. In 1998, VW/Audi bought Lamborghini away from Chrysler (which killed the Countach for ugly Diablo from 1991-2001). Audi helped designed the new Lambo Murcielago - replacing the Diablo - and kept the vertical doors. Next year, Audi and Lambo will release a 'baby' Lambo called the Gallardo. The doors open conventionally. I'd like to see Lamborghini bring back the Espada-like car with full 4-seats and the famed LM-002 SUV! Ford and VW rules!
