You have great tracks on there. It has much more diversity than Echoes, which mostly has songs from the big three and the recent efforts. I wouldn't choose between the two though, I'd just buy both

I've always been particularly keen to pre-darkside material, so I would love to have it. Good selections but would like you to squeeze "Cirrus Minor" on if possible.

FOS???

I just know asking this makes me look stupid.

Ooops...never mind.

Fat Old Sun.

Got it.

You know, last year I put together a ten CD compilation of Floyd stuff meant to span and cover their entire career. Of course, a lot of it was ROIO...but I've always felt that all of the Floyd compilations I have seen (except MAYBE the Total Eclipse boxed set) are always sorely lacking in some important area or another. Even the Shine On boxed set lacks Piper, More and OBC.

To be honest, though, I would feel that a boxed set of EVERYTHING they've officially released would still be lacking since it wouldn't have "The Man and The Journey."

I've always found those abbreviations a bit annoying, to be honest. TDSOTM and TDB I can just about handle, but why not write the song titles, or at least most of them, instead of confusing people? Ie, me?

  :-#

Haha, I remember when I first joined up on the Laughing Madcaps, it took awhile to figure out what PATGOD meant. I thought it was Patgod. Then one day it just occured to me, and boy did I feel stupid.

There is a bit of "Publius Enigma" thing on the compilation songlist. Figure it out and the winner could breathe as much air as he wants. It's a very original prize!

I like your best of very much, David. Quite well balanced. Are they favourites, or what you'd want first-time buyers to hear? Or both? Anyway, it's good. :P

I made the mini disk from just laying down a song and randomly seeing what would sound good. I was pleased with the transition from CN to WYWH including the end of have a cigar and the start of the CN riff so it sounded like the plug was being pulled on the riff. Great stuff.

Cheers, i reckon it's quite an astonishingly good disk to. I was gonna do a third but i couldn't think of enough songs to put on
