For those who are too lazy to click on the link, the article introduces a company which uses high-tech music analysis to compare new songs with an archive of over 3.5 million hit songs to determine its potential of being a top hit.
Personally, I think this process is ridiculous. It prevents artists with any original styles to break through onto the current scene.
