Listen to the Album

Post by nova74 »

Here is a link to one of the local radio stations. I was driving home last night and they were talking about how you can listen to the album.

http://www.thefox.net/cc-common/mfeatur ... gilmourSP/

It's rather low quality, but considering the album isn't out.
Enjoy!

Wait a week and you'll be able to get it in MUCH better quality.

I can't get it to open anyway, so I'll have to wait. It keeps telling me that it cannot verify the path or identify the file, whatever that means. Just as well I suppose.

Great link, dispute the advertisements and the lack of quality

Enjoying this link alot :D

I like the way that Castellerizon has the same spine tingling quality as the opening guitar solos of SOYCD.

If you want to save the adio streams, download a program like SuperMP3 Recorder and use the Record through Stereo Mix option. This records any sound passing through your soundcard - so if you just play the song and hit record, it'll record the song :D

When I click 'play all' with this link, the coke ad starts and plays half way thru, then the whole things stalls and I get a pop up that says "can't open file. verify that the filename and path are correct."

I figured out that this is one of about 100,000 clearchannel sites that are playing the album. I went to their site to see if they had any settings suggestions, but couldn't find anything.

Any suggestions? Could it be a Mac vs PC thing?

Yeah, I've tried a hatfull of them: Safari, Opera, Explorer, Firefox and Netscape and none of them works which makes me think it's either a firewall, cookie or mac vs pc issue. I control the firewall, so I don't think it's that. I'm accepting all cookies, so I don't think it's that, which leaves the latter. I'm a mental midget where tech issues are concerned, so who knows.
