I think the album is boring and nothing I'd listen to on my own time... Don't like it much. :P

Ah yes.....and so begins the requisite "awesome", "it sucks", "meh" routine so common to boards everywhere. Tra la la la la.

Think I'll just listen to it and keep my opinion to myself.

Soft and nice music.
Too less of that typical David Gilmour-Fender-Stratocaster-rockguitar-sound that is so unique for him.
On An Island *** out of five.

Well...I listened to it a couple of times now and... errrrr: it's a softy relaxing album. Recognisable in DG's guitar style, he's repeating some of his older tricks and sounds ....at the right places, but the solo's are not overwhelming (luckily... it just wouldn't fit into this album).

If he wouldn't be DG, the album wouldn't probably sell a lot, but on the other hand: he is DG and the album will sell for a couple of months...and be forgotten after that, except for some die hards like most of us

I'm happy with this album... I think it's far far far away from any PF-album, and I am glad for that!
