Truly On An Island...

Post by mosespa »

So far, I have successfully resisted hearing so much as a note from this album.

I HAVE heard Smile on the Meltdown DVD...but it's the vaguest of memories.

I have seen the artwork...couldn't resist there, but this album will take me completely by surprise when I buy it tomorrow.

Is anyone else deliberately staying away from the album...or is it just me?

I haven't gone near any of the snipets to date. Although an ad came on the radio for it yesterday when I was driving along which contained some samples but I couldn't hear them as the voiceover was being done by Irelands "premier DJ" ... Mr. Fuckin Know-It-All himself , Dave Fanning  ... that guy really needs to learn to shut up.

Haven't heard a note of it, unless you count the Island Jam video.

I heard snippets on his site, and know Smile quite well now having listened to the Meltdown thing many times, you'll love it, I made the mistake of listening to too many roio's and watching voio's before the '94 shows when I actually went to the Earls court gig as great as it was, it's much better if you wait :D

I've heard a few of the songs on the album premiere on the radio the other night. I don't know if I'm going to buy it today or not. I wouldn't be surprised if none of the stores in my area even have it.

I have pretty much tried to stay away from the musical side, but all of the photos and blogs and artwork have been looked at. I have head some of one song, when i went on the DG website and the auto-play was a new feature. I was like "AAAHHHHHH mute mute mute!!!"
