Why Dave doesn't play some songs from his other solo albuns?

Its another solo album and another solo tour. I would like to see him playing some old songs from his older solo albuns, besides some pink floyd stuff.

Maybe his older solo albuns didn't have much success...

What do you think?

I bought those first 2 CD's figuring he WOULD play some of those songs!!!

There are tons of high quality recordings of his 84-5 tour, wheere you get a handful of songsfrom the first album (Mihalis, There's no way Out, Short & Sweet) and just about all of About Face.

If I had to guess...

Probably because his first solo album was just something he did to see what it would do, his second solo album was an attempt at seeing if he COULD have a career outside of Pink Floyd, so he tried to sound "contemporary" for the day and it hasn't aged well in his view...now, he's finally gotten to make the album HE wants to make, with no pressure from ANY side to make it sound any way other than what HE wants it to sound.

And that's all he wants to focus on now...

Hopefully with the success of OAI and his current tour, he?ll start thinking of producing a follow-up in the not to distant future.

Most of the songs on his other solo albums are cheesy 80s rubbish that he ought to be ashamed of. Some little fun gems here and there though, boyo!
