so, are there fans of this dead comedian here? I was just listening to some interviews I have on mp3. And his live sets are so empassioned and insightfully caustic... shame he died of cancer just as he was on the brink of great recognition :\

Bill Hicks is a genius, he was the best example of a showman i could think off making his audience both think and laugh. He was like a philosopher and a comedian in one.

I would like to example a joke but i'm afraid i simply couldn't do him justice. Just go to kazza and download some of his stuff, he's the funniest and most thought provoking comedien out there and his death was an absolute tragedy.

I have just about all of his stuff on mp3 -- if anyone wants a copy (fits onto one CDr), just email me and I'll send you one.

Bill Hicks and I didn't see eye to eye. At the end of the day, he died.
