Former PINK FLOYD guitarist DAVID GILMOUR found himself caught short while playing a London gig earlier this month (MAR06), and had to excuse himself to visit the toilet. Gilmour was performing at the British capital's Mermaid Theatre on 7 March (06), the day after his 60th birthday, when he felt the call of nature midway through a set that was being recorded for BBC Radio 2. Before he dashed offstage, the WISH YOU WERE HERE rocker suggested any audience members also needing to use the facilities would be advised to do so at that moment.

wasnt that the show where he had to do two songs over again at the end
cuz he wasnt satisfied with the first takes?
he was probably hopping from one foot to the other and not really concentrating on the notes properly all through those two songs
It has been broadcast, yes and they did do two songs twice as they were not good enough. If you go to the home page of this site, you can follow a link back to the apporpriate thread on the forum to downlaod a DVD of the 3 songs made available on BBCi last week.
I remember when he said he was leaving the stage to go for a loo break....when he came back someone in the audience shouted "Did you give it a good shake ?"

And I shouted "Did you wash your hands?", which I think made him smile!
