I guess I'm going to ask this question here since my old examination of the live broadcast topic was lost along with the rest of the RoIO forum, and I do not feel like starting a new one.
I just noticed that in the disasterous The Thin Ice broadcast, the singer (Ute Lemper) isn't there. I can't see her. During Mother at least we see Sinead and her group playing without her mic on, but here there's nothing until Roger makes his "dramatic" entrance.
I wonder: was Ute Lemper's mic really broken like Sinead O'Connor's, or did something else happen? To get to the point: did she miss her cue and not show up onstage?
