I find left handed guitar player experts at their profession. They just have uniqueness that makes them great because the right side of the brain is the creative side of the brain (damn I wish I was a lefty).

Gilmour is far better! Listen to his playing on various parts of the solos on Dogs, and then listen to the version on the In the flesh dvd, both Snowy White and Doyle couldn't get the same sound David did.
Doyle is a left handed Stevie Ray Vaughan facsimile. Gilmour is the master. DG's playing surpasses Brahmall. Snowy could duel with DG superbly as witnessed on the Animals tour when the two would duel on SOYCD part 8 every show.

However, while Doyle is playing lefty, aren't the strings upside-down as well? The high E string being on top, and so on. Must be a pin in the ass learning to play that way.
Don't know this Doyle guy, but I can't imagine his playing being more expressive, refined yet raw, beautiful, emotional and distinctive as Gilmour's guitar work.
