I used to consider myself an agnostic, then an atheist.
My problem with religion is the dogma, the hypocrisy and the anthropomorphication of God. Yet I am mildly interested in certain mystical and spiritual aspects. I think the whole concept of God, Universe, Collective Cosmic Consciousness, etc. is just too large to grasp and for a simple "yes" or "no" answer to the question of its existence. I voted "not sure."

Better to be given an option than to to be forced to beleive.Real Pink in the Inside wrote:Better the hard truth than the comforting fantasy.
Now, i know some people on this are religious, so this is not be trying to mock you or anything in saying god's not real, but if somehow a scientist could disprove god, if some how they could, would it be a good idea?
I think not, telling people that they have the wrong sorts of beleifs and that all they have based their beleifs around is false would definitly cause more harm than good, on one hand we have the truth but on the other a lot of people who have to give up their faith, often of which is one of the most important things in their lives. Science should not be put against religion.
