Commercial? You mean they'll have product endorsements and stuff? An opened package of Sara Lee's Crustless Apple pie placed by Nick in Pompeii? I doubt it.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean about "being special" to have materials not available to others. Shouldn't everyone be able to have the releases, if that's what the band members want?
Why would you want materials only obtainable as roios or voios?
It will have everything the old official release had, interviews, "behind the scenes", that stuff... and more. And about the Butterfly shirt. I bet they did it so one day when someone was watching it they would go... WHOA! He's wearing the same shirt just different color. 70's what a time eh?

I am special because of who I am...not because of what I have. If all of my material possessions were to disappear tomorrow, I would still be as special as I am now.
I enjoy being a trader because it allows me to be a provider of certain "artifacts" that not everyone has. I am one (of many) who sees to it that those who do not have these artifacts gets them.
I'm not an altruist or anything...I just enjoy spreading the Floyd.
As for the commercialism...Hey, this band didn't come together to play music to live in poverty. It's their job to put out materials for people to purchase. I don't mind putting money in their pockets if I have it to spare.

It doesnt have RoIO status, or at least it shouldnt have. The video is still available to buy as a budget release, my local HMV and Virgin stores still have it in stock and its available to purchase on line. Trading the Pompeii recording would be the same as trading PULSE or DSoT or any other official Floyd release.
