RIP Gregory Peck

Post by JML »

I just heard that Gregory Peck has died... makes me sad, he was a good actor (anybody remember Omen?!). There's about two actors that I have really respected, Peck and Anthony Quinn (he was amazing in La Strada).

It's sad but "natural" that also good film-stars die. But at least we can watch them forever in their movies.

I heard about it when my friend Dawn called this morning. She has been friends with Gregory Peck for years, and recently blew off having dinner with him for a boyfriend...she's really regretting that now, as they were very close.

He was a fantastic actor, and an even better person. No, seriously. Heh. In the words of Vonnegut, so it goes.

SMG...I'm impressed that you're familiar with Vonnegut.

Breakfast Of Champions is one of my favorite novels.

Yeah! Omen is one of those good old horromovies. They don't do movies like that anymore. Omen, Exorcist, Entity, The Others and Amityville Horror are something like no other horror movies.
