A delivery for you sir

Post by David Smith »

So what are everyone's favourite Floyd deliveries. You know, those bits where the voice delivers the line perfectly making the listener feel something e.t.c

I would go with the following:

Roger: "Mother will she tear your little boy apart?"
"You stretch the frozen moments with your fear"
"Christ it's freezing inisde the veterin cried"
"Did they excpect us to treat them with any respect"

The last verse to hey you
The whole of The Trial

Dave: "I took a heavinly ride through our silence"
"And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking"
"Did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?"

The last verse of Lost For Words
The Last chorus of High Hopes
The first chorus on Comfortably Numb

Rick: "There she waits looking very angry"
"My friends are lying in the sun i wish that i was there"

The first chorus to Stay

Syd: "And i'm wondering who could be writing this song"
"Inside i feel alone and unreal"
"Isn't it good to be lost in the woods?"

"and so I throw the windows wide, and call to you accross the sky!" All of the vocals on Echoes, actually, is brilliant.
