Because it was shot in 1980 or 1981...technology wasn't quite as advanced as it is now.

Think about it...in 1980, a personal computer the likes of which you have now would only have been able to play pong.

You might have been able to get it to be a word processor, but today's typewriters are far more advanced than a 1980 or 1981 model word processor.

Go to your local used electronics store and pick up an Atari 2600...or even and Atari 5200 to see how sad the cutting edge of technology was back then.

Now...consider that a video cam of that day weighed about as much as your college dorm sized refrigerator...and didn't have "light balancing" options.

If it was dark...you got dark footage.

The Wall concerts were pretty dark.

The footage reflects this.

No modern day technology can fix that.
