I think people are overrating what Rick has played on that tour. Mostly because it's really hard do tell who's playing what keyboard when you listen to the record, but still you can recognize the keyboard player by his little tricks... and the tricks done on The Wall live were just too much for Rick. You're expecting a guy who was jazz-oriented and not much technical from the very beginning turn into a classic-oriented technical perfectionist, and all of that just a couple of weeks after his cocaine rehab. No, I think Peter Woods does most of the work.
