is there a son named steve gilmour?

there is a guy claiming to be a son of david gilmour.
he is born in 1969.
is was seen in a gossip magazine.
have you guys heard of this? i have my doubts
con artist?

I know steve.
When I was introduced to him, I was told he was David's son, but he has never come right out and said it. I was confused, having never heard that David had an older son, but getting to know him, I trust him and have no reason to doubt my friend.

some clues:
He has made references to his father having money and being a musician.
He used to drive a $200,000(or more) aston martin.
He looks like David and has a similar voice.
Nothing he has ever told me would contradict being David's son.
He does have some personality traits of a child of a rich celeb.
I haven't seen him in a year, but I remember he had just met a girl he really liked. I recently saw a blog that quoted 'the star' saying Actress Fairuza Balk was engaged to steven gilmour, son of pink floyd's guitar player.

I don't know why there isn't more public acknowledgment of Steve, but he exists.

Maybe there is a Steve. Maybe David has many unofficial children we don't know about. Does it matter?

If you don't have a reason to doubt that your friend Steve is indeed David Gilmour's son, and if you know him for years and trust him, why don't you just ask him?
