Lost Verse In Night Of A Thousand Furry Toys

I was listening to Broken China again. At 2:40, Rick's distorted "if you want that kind of thing" verse apparently ends and the undistorted "now you feel it"... verse opens.

However, I realized that distorted Rick is still singing in the background (albiet faded down), and although I can't quite make out his vocals it sounds like an entirely diffirent set of lyrics than anywhere in the song.

What, exactly, is he singing? Why is it buried under another verse?

I don't know what he sings, but apparently it's lyricist/co-producer Anthony Moore, singing on the telephone...
