Hmmm. I just found out that Waters' bass sold for 450,000 UAE Dirham at the auction in Dubai. I had forgotten to follow up on this tidbit until today. That's the equivalent of approximately $122,500 or 63,000 British pounds.
An Indian businessman purchased it, and the proceeds went to charity.
