By admitting that the other post is similar, you admit that you are basically posting the same thing twice.

On their simplest levels, both threads could be summed up under the same topic: "Pink Floyd Tribute Band Seeking Musicians."

I think it's not too taxing on one's intelligence to see the logic of having only one thread for this topic, that a second topic shouldn't be necessary when the first one can be edited to include the musicians you forgot to mention last time.

Try that one so that we can clean the forum up, please.

This particular one does not think it is being anal to insist that one follow the forum rules regarding posting the same topic across multiple threads.

Neither do the administrators, from what I gather.
