I would like to hear some opinions about it. I wanna a make a mix cd with my favorite pink floyd songs, and one is Comfortably Numb, but I wanna have the best version, and since i haven?t heard all of them, i would like you to help me, which one is the best? I really like the PULSE VERSION, its last guitar solo just blows my mind
Location: Edinburgh or Aberdeen depending on the time of year

Is There Anybody Out There's version. Only live one i've head with Roger and Dave, and IMO that does make quite a different. It makes a brilliant song even better.

I think we got every choice except the In The Flesh version in less than 10 posts. I think the studio version is a little flat. I think the PULSE version is the best, but I think they all are pretty good.
There's also the version from Dave's solo tour in the mid-80's that's a definate pre-cursor to the ones that followed on DSOT & Pulse; it's a good listen.
My Favorate is probably a tie between the original and the live wall version. The version on Roger's In The Flesh 2000 is also very good. Roger's voice is at its best and the guitar solo is so so good. It has two awsome guitar players switching off on it. Dayve's voice is missing, but not as much as Roger's on the Pulse version in my opinion.
