I'd like to hear something definite about this as well... In the past, certain tours seemed to prompt him to record solo (albums following the 'Animals' and 'Division Bell' tours) and of course he recently finished touring with David, so...
I hope Rick tours this one. It'd be awesome if he tries a solo tour; maybe he could bring David with him as a backup artist as an inverted version of last year (First Set: Rick Album, Second Set: Floyd Goodies + OAI Selections).
Location: Dylan Moran as Bernie, in whom Ray Davies meets Pete Doherty. Otherwise, Tallinn, Estonia.

Wikipedia says "Yes", and David is working with him. I've been thinking... Is the collaboration of them two a some kind of new virtual PF line-up? I think yes. So will the new album sound like Floyd? Hopefully yes.
It should be good if he is. Broken China is my favourite of all the members' solo albums, it really is a fantastic album (better than certain Pink Floyd albums, in fact..)
I just hope it isn't in the same style of Wet Dream, which was hugely disappointing.

i´m getting a bit tired of albums that are in work for 5-7 years.... the output post 2000 (of all members) has been mostly boring stuff so a Wright album that has been rumoured for 7 years now doesn´t get my hopes high
