Neptune Pink Floyd Festival 2007 - NOW CANCELLED

Post by simpledumbpilot »

This year Neptune Pink Floyd leaves behind the marathons and steps things up a gear for a major event - the first ever Neptune Pink Floyd Festival!

The 2 day event will feature four of the UK's leading tribute bands - Darkside, Us Not Them, Breathe and Us And Them. There will also be further special guests announced shortly and if thats not enough, we are even throwing in free admission to The NPF Alternative Pink Floyd Show featuring NPF tribute CD participants which will be held on the Saturday afternoon!

The festival will take place at The Cheese And Grain in Frome over the August bank holiday weekend from the 25th to the 26th. Tickets are now available to purchase online here.

The festival will also be preceeded by a short tour in May/June entitled ''The Alternative Pink Floyd Show'' which will feature members of the Neptune Pink Floyd community giving a new slant to some old Floyd classics, dates will be listed soon.

Please please do list it soon for we're planning to go on vacation in June, perhaps we could watch a show [-o<

You took your time in posting about it on here, Stew! It should be good, I managed to persude a few friends to come down a few weeks ago so I might be able to play a few tunes there as well as at the show on the tour that is going to be up here. (tune = lengthy improvisational Pink Floyd song).

I reckon the Brighton one will have to be a go'er, too

Yes, it is! Will you be attending this one, Messr Jordan, or are you afraid to leave your house due to fear of cars?

I reckon he's want to make it a blue movie

Anyways, impressed to see former Pink Floyd bass played Guy Pratt will be performing one night :D Well done Stu for getting him involved. His stand up show is rather amusing stuff
