I personally don't think they should reunite. I think Roger is better off without them and that Pink Floyd is better without Roger. Besides, this way is like having two Pink Floyds.
Im inclined to agree with this. For example Im also a big Depeche Mode fan (please dont hurt me ) and just half an hour ago I returned from seeing the vocalist play a solo show at Shepherds Bush and a couple of months ago I saw their other vocalist and chief songwriter play at the London Astoria, its usually 3 years between tours for DM and this way Ive seen 2 completely different shows and only had to wait less than 2 years. Sorry, im waffling on bout a band that I guess no one else here likes but you know how it is when you just get back from a gig that you really enjoyed, im still buzzing! I know I should have made the comparison with the Waters and Gilmour shows from last year but I think that could awaken a whole different beast!
Now that they are seperate how about we consider the option of moving on and taking them, i.e. Pink Floyd and Roger Waters as they come. Why waste time wishing, if only!, I wish, blah blah blah. And isn't such a thread already there?
Anyway, they are better apart judging by rogers 2002 tour. great stuff. Depeche mode? Thought that "singles 80 something" album was okay. Had potential.
If that ever happened I would like to see them scale it down a bit as far as the light show goes. I've already seen them twice and would like to see a show as it was in the late 60's early 70's. Alot like Daves DVD but with Roger.
